Dave DeAngelis, with a 50-year business career spanning numerous travels across 48 states and three countries, developed a deep passion for photography during his extensive journeys. In 2011, a pivotal moment occurred when actress/model Jennifer O’Neill, a fellow equine enthusiast, recognized Dave's photographic talents displayed on his website at that time. Impressed by his work, she enlisted him as the photographer for a significant equine assist benefit event at her Hillenglade Farm in Nashville. His captivating images went on to grace the pages of various magazines, with one even adorning the cover. Presently, Dave holds a position on the Board of Advisors for ‘Hope and Healing at Hillenglade’, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free equine-assisted sessions, retreats, and events to support Active Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their families.
Alongside his business travels, Dave dedicated numerous years to capturing moments at hunter/jumper horse shows and IndyCar races nationwide. He acknowledges the dynamic challenge posed by such events to a photographer, requiring quick captures akin to taming horsepower or seizing fleeting moments akin to grains of sand passing through an hourglass.
